Feed the Needy
Only Halal Meals — We Serve All Faiths, All Nationalities, All Colors
About This Program
Hunger does not announce itself. It is quiet, often hidden, and far more common in our neighborhoods than most people realize. Our Feed the Needy Program started as a response to that simple reality. Every two weeks, our volunteers go out and put food directly in the hands of people who need it.
This is not a program that makes people wait, fill out forms, or justify their need. We show up, we serve, and we come back two weeks later. That consistency is something our community counts on, and we take it seriously.
How It Works
Every other week, our team assembles and distributes 750 meal packages at accessible locations across Central New Jersey. Each distribution is organized entirely by volunteers, with zero administrative overhead.
Each meal package includes:
- Halal sandwich
- Water
- Chips
- Pudding
- Snack
- Condiments
Who We Serve
We serve anyone who is hungry. That is our only criteria. We do not ask about religion, immigration status, or background. Our table is open to all.
In practice, our recipients include homeless individuals, low-income families, recently arrived refugees, elderly neighbors on fixed incomes, and anyone else in our community who is struggling to put food on the table.
Get Involved
We always need volunteers. No experience required. If you can show up and serve food with a smile, you are welcome on our team. Contact us to join the next distribution.
