Because Every Muslim Child Deserves to Smile on Eid
About This Program
Every child looks forward to Eid. The new clothes, the sweets, the family gatherings, and yes, the gifts. But for children growing up in financially struggling households, Eid morning can be a painful reminder of what they do not have while their peers celebrate around them.
We started the Eid Toy Drive because no Muslim child should have to feel left out on one of the two greatest celebrations of our faith. Each year, around Eid-Al-Fitr, we collect and distribute brand new toys to financially challenged Muslim children across New Jersey.
These are brand new toys, not second hand, not used. Every child in this program receives something they can unwrap, something that is theirs, something that tells them their community thought of them on this special day.
Who We Serve
We serve Muslim children from low-income families across New Jersey, with a focus on Central NJ. Families are identified through community referrals, masjid partnerships, and direct applications.
If you know of a family with children who would benefit, please encourage them to contact us before Eid.
How You Can Help
You can donate brand new, unwrapped toys directly, or make a financial contribution and we will purchase the toys on behalf of the children.
