Food Pantry

Stocking Shelves, Sustaining Families

The believer is not one who eats his fill when his neighbor is hungry. (Prophet Muhammad, PBUH)

About This Program

Our Food Pantry provides grocery packages to families experiencing food insecurity across New Jersey. Unlike our bi-weekly meal distributions, this program focuses on foods and staples that families can take home and use across multiple meals at their own pace.

This program does not run on a fixed schedule. It runs when resources are available. What that means is simple: when you donate to this program, a distribution happens. Your contribution is the direct trigger.

How It Works

Once we have sufficient funds, we source and assemble grocery packages. Families are identified through community referrals, direct applications, and our partner organizations. We then distribute directly at a designated location.

Typical packages include rice, lentils, cooking oil, flour, sugar, canned goods, pasta, cereal, tea, and spices.

Who We Serve

We serve anyone in New Jersey who is struggling to afford groceries. Low-income families, those who recently lost a job, newly arrived refugees, elderly individuals on fixed incomes, and families referred by local masjids are all welcome.
